AUTOMATION SPECIALIST (Perm./Full-time)
Skills and experience needed:- University or College education in related field with 2-3 years of experience OR Licensed Industrial Electrician with PLC/Drive experience. Recent graduates will be considered.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, computer, and technical writing skills
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and independently
- AutoCAD experience and Health & Safety training is an asset
- Provide technical input to evaluate potential projects
- Assist with development/design of automation solutions
- Assist with product evaluation and selection
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human machine interfaces (HMI)
- Configure automation equipment and instruments
- Implement and troubleshoot industrial networks, Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet
- Provide installation and commissioning support
- Perform system troubleshooting and repair
- Create technical documents such as operation and maintenance manuals
- Perform administrative tasks, complete time sheets, service report, etc.
- Skill training and development will be initiated by Senior Automation Specialist and through professional level courses
NETWORK ANALYST/PROGRAMMER (Perm./Full-time)
Skills and experience needed:- University or College education in related field with 2-3 years of IT experience. Recent graduates will be considered.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Hands on knowledge and experience with desktop/server hardware and software, database administration, management of switches/routers and firewalls, support/design of LAN/WAN infrastructures, and remote access technologies
- Knowledge of Terminal/Citrix Services & Arcserve Backup software is an asset
- Experience with administration of domains, active directory and group policies
- Fluent with common business applications with ability to provide support for them
- Must have the demonstrated ability to follow problems through to resolution
- Provide technical input to evaluate potential projects
- Assist with development and design of new LAN/WAN networking solutions
- Assist with the implementation and administration of databases
- Configure and manage network routers, switches and firewalls
- Implement and support desktop and server hardware
- Develop and administer domains, active directories and group policies
- Develop and implement Terminal/Citrix Services and backup software solutions
- Provide support for common business applications such as Microsoft Office
- Develop and support custom application programs to support project work
- Completer administration tasks such as time sheets and service reports
- Skill training and development will be initiated by the IT Manager and through professional level courses

Skills and experience needed:- University or College education in related field with 2-3 years of technical/business experience. Recent graduates will be considered.
- Good technical skills, creative problem solving, mathematical ability and reasoning
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional appearance with business attire appropriate to client expectations
- Good computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook
- Great attitude that is positive, optimistic, diligent, persistent and not easily discouraged
- Energetic, enthusiastic, with a passion for solving problems and providing value
- Self starter that can work independently and learn new skills and adapt to change
- Sociable and personable with the ability to build relationships
- Develop new markets and clients
- Identify new business leads, through association meetings, trade shows, web search, directories, etc.
- Qualify new client prospects, via telephone calls, email and meetings.
- Follow up meetings with client and company to develop project outline for new opportunities
- Make presentations on the companies behalf
- Prepare quotes/proposals, with the support of project team
